Well, well, well. It was impressive indeed. Anyone who should happen to have this strange space creature turn up in his/her area will definitely want to have a listen as well as a look. For those of you who still don't have the slightest idea of what I'm babbling about, Peter Gabriel gave an *amazing* performance last Saturday night (7/30?) at Merriweather-Post Pavillion in Columbia, Md. We heard most of his latest album (which is called "Security" by his record company, but he would rather have it as just "Peter Gabriel", but that's a whole other can of worms), virtually all of his third album, and a few things from his first two solo works. The performance was also a technical master- piece as far as the stage show was concerned--the lighting must have cost about a zillion $$$ and it appeared to be all computer coordinated. To top it all off, P.G. performed his ritual journey through the audience during "Lay Your Hands On Me" that left the bouncers helpless as far as crowd control was concerned. Definitely worth the outlandish prices they're charging these days. Don't miss it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! By the way, Gabriel is touring with Larry (Synergy) Fast, Tony (King Crimson) Levin, David Rhodes, and Jerry Marotta. dno.cvl.umcp-cs@UDEL-RELAY (ARPA) David Oskard (Listen to WMUC fm88)
