Communications Research Centre has developed a pre-processor package for the HF Ionospheric Communications Analysis and Prediction program (IONCAP for IBM-pc). The data entry program is called Ionhelp and runs on IBM-pc type computers. Ionhelp generates output data in the format required by Ioncap program. The built-in context sensitive help information, pre-programmed selection menus simplifies data preparation. The data validation for the data entered reduces operator errors. The Ionhelp program and user's manual is available to the interested organizations free of charge. To obtain a copy, send an official letter requesting Ionhelp with a formatted floppy to my address. This package does not include Ioncap program. Department of Communications makes no warranties as to the contents of the Ionhelp manual, Ionhelp software package and specifically disclaims any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose. Also further reserves the right to make changes to the specifications of the program and the contents of the manual without obligation to notify any person or organization of such changes. Department of Communications makes no warranties on the results of the Ioncap program and has no relationship to the originators and suppliers of Ioncap package.
