I am interested in a cheap implementation of a circuit to
count and display (the value of) a beat frequency in the
range DC to 100Hz, low frequency stuff.
The prior stage of the circuit will probably be an op amp
summing two sine waves produced by a pair of 8038s (each
signal in the audio range, perhaps 100Hz to a few kHz).
Actually, it would be desirable to count the frequencies of
the two original signals, as well...
Advice would be appreciated. (I would be a bit embarrassed
asking this, without the caveat that I'm not a hardware
designer; I mostly sit on the software side of the fence :-))
