Recently I ran accross a bargain at my local SHACK. The manager offered to sell me his last remaining G.E. Homeminder (X-10 module controller) for $35.00 - SOLD! I understand that R.S. was selling them on a "Special Purchase" deal for about 1 year -- meaning G.E. sold them dirt cheap to R.S. on a one-time deal. It's mostly menu-driven as it hooks up to your T.V. and you select options with a remote control. I was able to get it cheap because the only thing it did not have was the manual. The manual is almost essential when you wish to use the remote phone menu and be able to turn things off/on or leave a message for a house-sitter. Please, if anyone out there has or knows of someone who owns the GE "Homeminder", beg them to drop me a note here or the old-fashioned U.S. Mail or by phone call; Mike Carter 1107 E.
