I'm looking for an LCD similar to the one used in the obsolete "Workslate" from Convergent. It's 14 lines by 44 (?) columns. If anyone has info on who made this LCD for them, or on LCDs with those specs, I'd appreciate it if you could send me some email. I'll summarize if there's enough interest. At Eli Heffron & Sons (near Somerville, MA), I saw a mooseload of LCD displays that Epson was going to put in a cancelled 'Commuter Computer' product. It looked to be at least 40x12, and maybe even 80x24. If I would have know how to drive them (no docs available) I would have bought a few. Good luck, and if anyone else knows more about how to drive these 'Commuter Computer' LCD's, please post to the net. -- - Ralph W.
