[sci.electronics] IR remote Chips...EASY 2 USE

wiz@xroads.UUCP (Mike Carter) (02/15/89)

Recently there has been some talk on this newsgroup about folks attempting
to find "easy to use" or interfacable I.R. control circuits.
My suggestion is to get ahold of Motorolla's Linear and Interface Integrated
Circuits handbook.
(DL128)
If you have one or have access to one, turn to page 9-5.

I couldn't think of an easier way to make home-made IR's than with these
two puppies.
Interfacing? Check out the keyboard matrix style inputs on the MC14497.
