If you want 'odd' sockets, I have found Samtec (PO BOX 1146 New Albany IN 47150 - (812)944-6733 to be a good source. They have all sorts of interesting interconnect parts. Dave

These come in varying lengths and can be put together to create 64 pin sockets. I have a box of 24 pin SIP sockets which have a part number SS-124-G-2. To make 64 pin sockets you could get the 32 pin model (possibly SS-132-G-2 ?).
