Well, with all of the talk about cheap computer speech, how about some speech recognition? Is there anything out there in kit form or otherwise that would allow a PCAT to recognise about 20 words or so? I know that it would probably have to be trained for one person only, but this really wouldn't be a problem for the application I'm looking at (specifically, talking to my computer, telling it to read my mail to me, etc, etc...Nothing spectacular). Prices, addreses, etc please... Also keep in mind that I, unlike some of you, am definately not an electronics god (or even demi-god...Or even a minor diety...More like a consumer :-)! . -- | Robert C.
