[sci.electronics] Parts

guhsd000@crash.cts.com (Paula Ferris) (04/08/89)

I need a good source for the following items, Radio Shack can't cut it (And they never could before, so why start now?):

Cores, coils, and ferrite products (a full range of mH Chokes would be Excellant!)

I also need RF stable capacitors, transistors (drivers) and related equipment.

I have several radio communication progects I'd like to do, but have an extream lack of sources. I need to buy in small quanities also, and need non-standard values (Such as .1 uF at 6500 Volts).

I know somewhere in the world there must be some warehouse all the other tronic techies go to get all their parts. If *ANYONE* has any useful information, Please mail it to be, I tend to skip over alot of mail.

The best "catch-all" supplier that I have found is Mouser Electronics. They
have a little of everything. The number for their circulation department is
1-800-992-9943.

They have a distribution center located in Santee CA, Mansfield, TX, and
Randolph, NJ.

Any size order is OK except orders under $20 will require a $5 handling fee.
