The Fifteenth Annual Eastern VHF/UHF/SHF Conference will be held
May 19-21 on the grounds of Rivier College, Nashua New Hampshire. Nashua
is centrally located with easy access via road (RT-3 or RT-93), Bus,
or AIR, (Nashua Airport, or Manchester Airport with connections to New York,
Boston, Chicago, Washington).
Accomodations will be available on the grounds at a rate of $27.50/night
single or $45.00/night double. Morning coffee is included. Many other
accomodations are available ranging from the Red RooF INN to the Sheraton
Terra Hotel. All are within an easy drive. Meals are available locally.
The saturday evening banquet featuring prime rib of beef is available
by reservation only. The cost for the meal is $18.00 p/p.
Conference highlights include the hospitality room starting at 2000 friday
evening, Tech Talks starting sat at 0900 featuring discussions on satellite
receivers, antennas, VHF, UHF, & SHF operation, etc. Also the ever popular
antenna gain contest, for 70, 33, 23, and 13 cm starts saturday at 1100.
Additionally there will be technical exhibits along with some dealers,
photo displays, pre-amp noise figure measuring contest on sunday, as well
as many, many door prizes after the banquet on Saturday evening.
