[sci.electronics] Another Capacitor Question

rschofie@silver.bacs.indiana.edu (04/26/89)

Can I substitute a non-polorized, electrolytic capacitor for a polorized
one? Thanks in advance. And thanks for all the very informative replies I
received from my previous question about capacitors.

Yes, but you probably won't want to. Non-polar electrolytic capacitors
are much more difficult to find (hence more expensive) than similar polar
types. They're pretty much a "special applications only" part.
