I received my DataStor 8000 a few days ago. Since I don't have an IBM PC,
the optional software and cable to up/download the 8Kb telephone/alarm
directory wasn't too appealing to me, so I didn't buy it.
I've already identified the control and data leads, dumped the RAM and made
the preliminary identification of data strings and encoding technique. I'm
going out of town for a few days, and I was wondering whether anyone out
there has already gone through this exercise and identified the storage
management used here, and could pass the information on to me. The supplier
I bought it from told me that no such technical information was available
for the product - if you know better, please let me know that, too.
If anyone wants the information after I'm finished, send me some Email; if
there are enough requests, I'll be glad to post the results.
