[sci.electronics] Digital Timer for a Stereo.

aodyniec@orion.cf.uci.edu (Alex Odyniec) (06/20/89)

I am looking for a multi-event, digital timer for stereo equipment
application. I've seen only one model: Radio-Shack, 8-events, $20.
Does any one have experience with such timers and could recommend
(caution against) a particular unit, or suggest retail stores that
sell them?

I've been using a Radio Shack timer for some time now, recording PBS
radio programs for delayed listening. I believe the unit I have has
14 events (7 on and 7 off). I've found that the timing drift of the
clock is far better than my VCR.

Wouldn't a true audiophile use an analog timer?	:-)
