When I posted the list of enclosure manufacturers, I mentioned that I was going to pay a visit to Ango Electronics, in Harrison, NJ. I did just that, and was very pleased. On Monday, July 3rd, I left the NJ Parkway and headed blindly into Harrison. Luckily, Ango Electronics was very easy to find, on North 3rd Street. I purchased a model 10-19082 1.75" high rack-mount case, finished in black. Their catalog price was $38.50. Shipping would have been about $4 and sales tax is 6%. However, the guy at Ango was so happy to have a walk-in purchase, he offered the case to me for $30 flat, if I paid him cash. The case is quite well made, and nicely finished. It looks very much like rack-mount cases used in retail products, especially the cases used for Bryston equipment.
