[sci.electronics] Help me find more books

uusgta@sw1e.UUCP (4237]) (08/10/89)

I am interested in purchasing books on radio and early works by and about
researchers and experimenters in electrical theory (De Forest, Fessenden,
Fleming, Heaviside, Hertz, Marconi, Maxwell, etc. etc. etc.). Funds are
limited and I usually have to constrain my efforts to used bookstores.
Unfortunately, I can only find and scour a limited number of secondhand
bookstores. I am hoping I can prevail upon YOU to let me know about
your bookstores, or other sources of used books. Then I can send a letter
and ask them to check their stock, or post an ad or whatever. Please send
me your local used bookstore's address (preferably via electronic mail).

If you're feeling very generous you might print this off & hand it to a
local bookdealer or post it on those little bulletin boards by the front door.
I'm very interested in finding addresses outside the United States, especially
Great Britain, and I am interested in books written in languages other than
English (if I can figure out what they are).

Of course I'll be happy to share whatever information I acquire through the
kindness of the Net. ( I am still looking for the schematics some people
requested after my last plea. )
