[sci.electronics] Service documentation

brown@m.cs.uiuc.edu (08/14/89)

I'm interested in obtaining the servicing documentation for some
equipment. I'd appreciate it if someone would provide me with the name,
address, phone number, etc. of a supplier of Photofact docs for repair
work. Also, I'd like to know what information I'll need to give this
people, and some idea of what the service costs.

	Thanks,

Often Sam's Photofacts can be found in large public libraries. I know
that the main San Jose Public Library does (or used to).

The Champaign Public Library carries these, I have checked them out from
them.

You must have the brand and model number of what you are attempting
to get a service schematic for, and they can look the model up in an
index, to find which Sams it is covered in.

You can order Photofacts through Radio Shack.

Also, MTV Electronics sells them. They cost around *$12.00* now ;-(
