[sci.electronics] Wanted: CASIO graphics databank

ralphw@ius3.ius.cs.cmu.edu (Ralph Hyre) (08/23/89)

I don't recall the Model number, but I saw it in a May
American Airlines gift catalog. The neat features was
that you could enter pictures into the unit with a stylus
and their touch-sensitive screen, as well as perform other
mundane storage tasks. I recall the cost was something
around $189.

Does anyone know where I could still get one of these, or
perhaps have a phone number for the appropriate place at CASIO
that I could call to find out availability. Caltronics, a local
calculator distributor claiming to handle Casio products, is completely
clueless, or just incompetent (they don't return my calls.)

Newer editions of the American catalog just seem to have
the Sharp Wizard for sale, but I don't want one of these. (It doesn't
have graphics input, and everyone else has one anyway, I want to be a
little different.)

Thanks.
