[sci.electronics] VCII has no stereo

Hello 

      I am having trouble finding an IC to repair a 
VCII - MA-COM - GI de-scrambler.  The IC is used in 
position  U2 and U3  and appears to be a 10 bit DAC 
#SOCN 24765-1 used to supply left and right audio.  
The IC manufacture is AMI which I understand is no 
longer in business.  

      Does anyone have any information on where this 
device or a substitute can be purchased.
