[sci.electronics] Counter LSI chips

jvb7u@astsun.astro.Virginia.EDU (Jon Brinkmann) (09/05/89)

I am looking for LSI counter chips similar to the AMD 9513. It does almost
everything I need except hardware control of the load and up/down functions.

For those not familiar with the AMD 9513 it has (among other features):

5 16 bit up/down presettable counters which may be concantenated
	  in almost any fashion desired.

each counter may be preset from software and gated in a variety of
	modes from software or hardware.

Does anyone out there know of anything similar to this chip?

Jon
