Can anybody out there tell me *anything* about this chip. I've found
it inside a TATUNG TP2000 - instead a WD1793! It seems as if there is
no complete compatibity... Who knows the manufacturer, has a datasheet
or can help another way?

That's printed on it: MB 8877A

Thanks in advance, A.Zinser

I remember using them when I fixed CP/M computers. They were cheaper, I believe. -- Kenneth R.
