[sci.electronics] Need specs for a static RAM chip.

jgreco@csd4.csd.uwm.edu (Joe Greco) (10/01/89)

I am in need of the pinout of a 32K static RAM chip, "HM43256LP-15" that
I have not been able to find in my somewhat old databooks. If somebody
could E-mail me this information (I don't often read this group), I would be
very grateful!

Thanks in advance....

For the reference of all you folks who might not know this, the pinout should
be almost the same as the equivalently sized EPROM (with changes for the fact
that EPROMS don't normally get written to).

So if you can get a spec sheet for a smaller SRAM, plus spec sheets for both
of the EPROMS, you should be able to extrapolate.

There should also be a standard pinout algorithm (JEDEC). If you can figure
out the pattern that's used from one series to the next, you can get the pinout
that way.

And 32K SRAMs are cheap now, so you can afford to blow one while you
experiment with it :-).
