Ever since I mentioned on net.music that I was on the lookout for jazz lovers, I've been getting mail from various netters whose musical tastes are (for me) in all the right places. I'd like to know whether there's enough interest to start a net.music.jazz. Please send me mail if you think it's a good idea. (Also would someone tell me how I go about creating it?) As an example of what might go on there, here's a question: I recently heard on the radio the end of the title cut from Odean Pope's album "Almost Like Me". Does anyone know anything about this monster saxophonist? I was *most* impressed by those few minutes.
