Hi all,
I was wondering...
I know that there are chips that (1) take a composite video signal
and an audio signal as inputs, (2) applies some magic to them, and
(3) gives you rf output (usually channel 3 or such).
What I'm looking for is just the opposite. I would like to
feed it the channel 3/whatever rf signal and get the audio and
video out.
So, what I'm basically looking for is a 'tuner in a chip.' Does
anyone know if such a critter exists? Yes, I imagine it would
require some external support, but I'm trying to keep chip/part count
to a minimum.
(I noticed a similar discussion recently, but (if memory serves)
nothing like this was addressed.)
Thanks. Oh yeah, if possible, could you e-mail a reply? I don't
get a chance to read this newsgroup very often. If there is enough
interest I'll summarize. Thanks (again).
Jon
