My cable TV connection contains 11 channels. Most of those are sent in normal VHF-bands. That's okay. But, that's not all. Some channels (Finish TV3, Discovery, Music TV... etc.) are sent with S-bands and H-bands. (Near 350MHz, I think?) - and that isn't funny any more! My TV-set is so called 'normal' European TV-set and it could not receive those S- and H-bands. Okay, here comes the question: I I need a converter which transfers S- and H-bands to normal VHF- or I UHF-band. I think it isn't a easy job. I have searched most databases I and literature referats and I haven't found any article or electronical I project for this kind of problem. I I The circuit works with high frequencies and the mechanical construction I becomes essential. So I thought I should get more accurate diagrams. I (I didn't start to experiment with easy mixers, my friend tried to use I old TV tuner but he got nothing but noise on screen!) Do you have experiences of that kind of converters or seen any articles? Please, drop a message!
