I'm going to be using one of Oki's ADPCM chips (the 6258) in a project. I've got the chip and the DRAM, but the one thing I can't locate is the 4.096MHz crystal needed to get sampling freqs of 4K, 5.3K and 8K. I've checked Jameco, and Digikey... anybody know where I can find a 4.096MHz crystal??? I've dealt with them and recommend them. -- A bit of tolerance is worth a | Henry Spencer at U of Toronto Zoology megabyte of flaming. | uunet!attcan!utzoo!henry henry@zoo.toronto.edu

Greg-- Check with Mouser Electronics : 800-34-MOUSER #ME332-1041 $3.96 or Active Electronics : 800-228-4834 #68067 $1.09 I can't guarantee those prices are still good, and there will be minimum orders, but they have them. Have you asked at Radio Shack? They can order quite a few crystals, although I don't know if the prices are very reasonable. Cheers! Paul
