Hi! I've got a scope that isn't working quite right. I can get a point in the middle of the CRT, but it won't move horizontally (no sweep). Applying a DC voltage makes the point move up, and a AC voltage makes it move up and down. From looking inside I found nothing where the there was SUPPOSED to be a resistor on the power supply board. The trace from this resistor leads to a bus which goes up to the CRT board. On that board there is another resistor which is discolored and cracked. Seems like some very(!) good leads on what is wrong with this scope. However, the manual I have for this scope only has the schematics and board photos for the boards in the 'scope' part of the scope. The manual refers to a CRT manual for help in that area. The hitch is that I don't HAVE the manual for the CRT. There is only one board and the CRT tube itself in this area but this board's description isn't included in the manual that I have. From what I know so far this scope could be purchased with a number of different CRT options. This is why the scope manual doesn't have the board layout. I have the D10 single beam CRT option. Where can I find a schematic for this and what will it cost me? I'm reasonably sure I could fix this scope if I had it. Thanks in advance! Mike Killoran killoran@vlsi.ll.mit.edu killoran@ll-vlsi.arpa
