[sci.electronics] Analog circuit design tech-notes / Looking for Interdesign Inc.

kin@eecg.toronto.edu (Kin Man J Chan) (11/08/89)

Hi there!

Does anyone out there know where Interdesign Inc. has gone?
It is a FERRANTI company providing IC design kits and was originally
located in Sunnyvale, Ca.. Their old number was (408) 734-8666.

Actually I am looking for good tech-notes in analog circuit design
(BJT or MOS) and I know they had an excellent series.

Or can anyone give me pointers to good tech-notes or tutorials in
analog circuit design other than standard text books

Any help will be very much appreciated.

Sincerely,

Kin Chan

Ferranti Interdesign is alive and well, but is now known
as Plessey Semiconductors, Inc. The name change is the result of
yet another buyout...

Anyways, you can reach Plessey Semiconductors at:

		Plessey Semiconductors, Inc.
		Sequoia Research Park
		1500 Green Hills Road
		Scotts Valley, California 95066
			(408) 438-2900

I believe they still support the Ferranti Monochip series,
although I don't know what name it goes under, since I only have
the old Ferranti manual... Nor do I know if they have continued the
design note series, but I do know that I keep my copy of the design
notes close at hand for analog work... They are a great cookbook,
as long as you know the limitations of what you're dealing with...
