Now that various handheld computers are coming with ram/rom cards, are
there ram/rom card drives available for my 386/20, soon to be UNIX w/SCSI,
computer?

If you want very fast storage such as a RAM disk, the best way to get it
with a 386 system is to put in as much RAM as your systems will take and
use a RAM disk program which uses extended memory such as the DOS VDISK
program. Any 16 bit card based RAM disk system would be alot slower than
system board memory or a 32 bit card based memory. From what I understand
extended memory based ram disks are much faster than the LIM 4.0 expanded ram
based ram disks.
