[sci.electronics] batteries for emergency use

	With all this talk about charging batteries, I thought you mind
find this interesting.  I just saw an ad for some batteries designed for
emergency use (i.e. long term storage).  They look like regular D cells but
to activate them you have to twist the top; this breaks some kind of
internal seal letting some liquid out of a compartment and activating the
battery.  Until you do that, they have (or so the ad implies) essentially
infinite shelf life.
