I suspect that this note was taken in jest, however, it is true
that color CRT's are highly sensitive to the earth's magnetic
field and at the equator such sets must face north or south to be
in line with the horizontal field.  Color sets do not work
properly when rotated.  The suggestion that you investigate this
on your own CRT by inverting it is sincere.  Sorry if I
misinterpreted dry humor but there was an unnerving tone of
disbelief in the postings.
