Since I received no replies the first time, I will expand on my problem and send this again. I have a question for all you house control types. I have an outside door light on a remote building. I wish to turn the remote light on and off from my house before I walk out to the building at night. Since the building is about 100 feet from my house, I do not want to install the 100 feet of 14-2 underground wire, as well as, the mucking required to install the switch in the house. Do any of the house control systems have a switch that will act as a controller? Switching to the ON position will send out the house and device code and also the ON signal. Changing the switch to OFF will send out the house and device code and the OFF signal. The remote light that I am controlling would have a slave module to respond to these signals. The controllers tha I am slightly familiar with seem to be desk top units with a large array of buttons to control many devices and in many modes. I just want to remotely turn one thing on and off. I would like to find a controller in a mechanical format that is the same as a normal light switch. This switch/controller would go in the wall next to the other switches for outside lights. If there is such a beastie, please list the format, the manufacturer, the part/model number, and who might carry it. If you are fairly certain such a thing does not exist, or have failed in searching for a similar unit, I would also be interested in a reply. Thanks, Jack Klinker
