[sci.electronics] Shrink wrap plasic on NiCAD packs

charlie@oakhill.UUCP (Charlie Thompson) (02/02/90)

I am looking for a source for that tough shrink-wrap plastic
found on NiCAD battery packs. I'd like to make my own packs
and repair existing ones. The plastic shrink material is
useful for both repair and making up new battery packs.

I already have the heat gun!

Just use black electrician tape. Cheaper and probably easier to apply.
