In the March 1988 issue of Radio Electronics, there is was an article describing the building of a plasma-display power supply. This supply puts out 10,000 Volts at 25 kHz. The design is well tested, and probably less hazardous than hooking up wire coat hangers to neon power supplies. Does anyone know where a person can pick up a neon tube power supply? Also, does anyone know what the Ballast Coil does in a flourescent light?
