Will caller-ID systems be accepting information from the cellular sites in order to identify the cell phone user's number? This would seem complicated at best. Also, since cell phone companies are more competitive for users, it seems they'd be less likely to force such a 'service' on their clients. If this is true, it seems yet another great reason to use cell phones. --kyler

Actually, the DMS switches treat cellular calls just like any other. The cellular link is just another node on the PM bus. There shouldn't be any difference in the software to ID cellular calls than to ID line calls.
