I need to repair my Yaesu FRG-8800 general coverage receiver
(one of the two local-oscillator PLL's is unlocking) and I'd
like to know what the following IC's are:
MC14028BCP, MC14042BCP, MC14081BCP, and MC14555BCP (I suspect
these are just CMOS digital things, but I'd like to have a
one-line description of their respective functions.)
I'd also appreciate one-line descriptions of the following, but
in this case I'm quite sure they are working; I'm just curious!
MH63A05X0A12 (the main microprocessor; a 6305?)
MN6147, AN6552, and PC1037H.
I have a service manual with schematics, etc., but nowhere does
it describe what the above are; it just gives part numbers.
Thanks in advance. --Myron.
