I'm looking for the type of motion detection sensor used to open the automatic doors in your local supermarket. Does anyone know where I can get one, or point me in the right direction to start looking? I'm working on my senior design project and our "extensive" library of manuals, books, etc. seems to be lacking in this area. Either that or I'm not looking in the right place. :) Thanks, Joe.

They make a basic module (called the MSM 1000 if my memory serves - and it has been going fast lately!). This module includes the oscillator and detector and a few other pieces and should be perfect for your application. It has the advantage that it already meets the FCC regulations, something that should save you much trouble. I do not have Alpha's address at home, but you should have no trouble finding them if your extensive library contains a Thomas Register or other buyers guide. Good luck. 73 de WA4VZQ, Barry ornitz@kodak.kodak.com ----------------- | ___ ________ | | | / / | | Dr. Barry L.
