I need help from someone who has both a Nintendo Entertainment System
and a voltmeter. I'm trying to use a Nintendo controller in a
non-Nintendo application and need to know what the power requirements
for the controller are. Specifically, the controller plugs into port 1
on the Nintendo system which as you look at the front of the system
looks like so:

PORT 1 PORT 2
So what I need to know is the voltage between the top two pins on the
left hand port. If someone would measure this voltage for me and
email it to me you will have done your part in making this a better
universe to live in and you'll have made me smile 8-).
