[sci.electronics] Sydney University Power Electronic Simulator

chii@ee.su.oz.au (Liang Chii ) (02/26/90)

Dear Group Readers,

Currently, we have developed a software simulator called "
Sydney University Power Electronics Simulator -- SUPES". It
works on simulating the transient response of electronic circuits
especially power electronic circuits. The program runs on IBM PC
clone host with at least 512RAM.

The front end graphic pre-processor handles the circuit diagram
input. It is mainly a menu driven circuit editor.
the simulation results are displayed
on personal computer graphically. (either CGA, MGA or EGA). Because of
the characteristics of fast switching in power electronic circuit, the
simulator is designed with special numerical algorithm to avoid any
non-convergence problem.

Any interested inquiry can be sent to me either by mail or letter.
