The ruckus about blue LED's is understandable. Now we can generate an R-G-B system with solid-state devices. Has anyone out there done any experimenting, or have any ideas ? One thing that I see as a potential problem is the nonlinear optical output, because color generation in an RGB system is very sensitive to level of each component, not to mention the color-sensitivity of the eye. How 'good' is the blue light ? Green LED's seem to put out a weak yellow-green color, whereas the red devices have a much richer output.
