I just measured the capacitance of a one gallon glass "cider" jug, covered with tin (aluminum) foil and filled with water. It came in at .002 uf. (micro farads.) Quite higher than I expected with my tests of thinner plastic jugs. By the way, I am aware that these are in fact Leyden jars. -- - John Logajan @ Network Systems; 7600 Boone Ave; Brooklyn Park, MN 55428 - logajan@ns.network.com, john@logajan.mn.org, 612-424-4888, Fax 424-2853
