I was under the impression that nicads should be dischareged completely in order to maintain their full capacity. (and avoid "memory" effects) Someone mentioned to me that discharging them completely was harmful for some unkown reason. They used a resistor and a diode in series to deep discharge them to about 0.6 volts. Does anyone have any ideas about this? (I though t discharging them to 0 volts was good...)
