A friend of mine in British Columbia services cordless phones and has
had occassion to run into the Phantom 911 Dialer problem. His solution
is simple and hasn't failed yet. He merely changes the security code.
My friend claims that the problem is caused by skip propogation. When
asked why he was so sure of the cause, he said that the police in his
area had received these bogus calls when no-one else in their area had
called them.
Who? Me? Never!
