I would like to make an automatic switch that cuts AC off after the voltage becomes low and remains off until manually reset. Some surge suppressors in the $100 range have this dropout feature. I can do this with a relay, but I don't know how reliable that is and at what voltage it would drop out. Is there a more reliable (solid state?) way of doing this? Please email or post, as probably many other people would also like to know. Thanks. Chia-Chi Chao chao@ocf.berkeley.edu ..!ucbvax!ocf.berkeley.edu!chao
