[sci.electronics] Motorola 68HC11 micro

djw@hpldsla.sid.hp.com (David Williams) (08/01/90)

Has anyone used the Motorola MC68HC11? It seems like a nice
chip that will fit into a project I want to work on.

The trouble is it is (relatively) new, a little more exensive
than most 8 bit micro-chips, and seemingly impossible to obtain.
Is it worth bothering with?

I'd be interested in what people who have used it think.

Anyone know where to get one? Preferably in the SF bay area (or
mail order).
