[sci.electronics] Need NEC Multisync 3D connector pinouts

bwhite@oucsace.cs.ohiou.edu (Bill White ) (08/25/90)

I bought a NEC MultiSync 3D about a year ago and connected it
to my computer (an Atari 1040ST) for use in low and medium resolution
modes (60Hz refresh). However, I would like to be able to use it for
high resolution (70Hz refresh) and also as a monitor (I'm working on
a comb filter NTSC to RGB decoder) for a VCR. So what I need to know
is the pinouts of the connector on the back of the monitor. I know
that many of the pins are connected to "sense" inputs on the 3D's
microprocessor, but have no idea what they do.
So if someone could please mail me an explanation of each pin
on the 3D, I'd really appreciate it. Please mail instead of posting
unless you post to sci.electronics; I do not regularly read comp.periphs.
My address is bwhite@oucsace.cs.ohiou.edu
	Thank you in advance.
