Has anyone out there had any experience with the cross software
sold by First Systems Corporation (865 Manhattan Beach Blvd,
Manhattan Beach, Ca. 90266)?
They sell a cross developement package for Intel microprocessors (8085
and 8086/88): Pascal, C, FORTRAN, PLM, and assembler for the 16 bitters,
PLM and assembler for 8085, and support high level debugging.
I believe it runs on both VMS and VAX/UNIX.
It sounds good, but it's fairly expensive (~$40K), so we're trying
to find out all we can before we buy.
I would be interested in hearing from folks who've used this package
and their impression of both the software itself and the support they
received from the vendor. Please send replies via mail.
