[sci.electronics] Source needed for Motorola 68HC11s

Newark Electronics carries HC11's. They have two models listed in
their latest catalog (number 111): E0 and E1. They may have others.
As far as the quantity, you'll have to check with them. The price
list has a note next to these two parts that says you should "call your
local Newark branch for price details."

Be prepared to pay lots of money for the 12k EEPROM version. They only
intend that to be used for prototyping, whereas the 2K EEPROM version is
expected to see use in production. The EE cells are BIG. Big die, big
bucks!
