[sci.electronics] Digital audio I/O references

jk87377@korppi.tut.fi (Kouhia Juhana Krister) (09/14/90)

Hi,

Here is an information about digital audio I/O (AES/EBU, S/PDIF)
interface.
Additions, corrections, etc. are welcome.

There's people in the Net, whos are made, are making their own
SCSI<==>AES/EBU interface (or something else).
If they would like to sell such kind of interface or would like to
share such kind of cards specification, please let us know.

I'm interested in to know how much it costs to make own interface
card - would somebody like to estimate the price?
I'm interested in to know too what AES/EBU or S/PDIF protocoll chip
are available? And from where?

If somebody gives up to making own interface, see an information about
digital audio workstations below.
[All additions are welcome to it too.]
