[sci.electronics] Looking for a chip source: TDA 2593

I've got a burnt TDA 2593 out of an IBM PGD monitor.

Tried all the local outlets, but couldn't find anything about it.
Any suggestions for a possible source?

I believe it's part of the horizontal sync circuit ....

thanks,
   horkan

Well, if I'm right, Motorola makes the chip. Call them up
and order one.

Try MCM Electronics or Wyle. If you haven't found the part by now,
e-mail a request and I'll get MCM's phone number for you.
