I have a friend who wants to put an ethernet interface on a board he's building - and it needs to be fairly high-performance. Therefore, I'd really like to hear from people who know of good chipsets/modules that are available to build ethernet interfaces with, and I'd also appreciate some idea of how hard they are to work with and interface to. If there's much interest in this, I can summarize the results. If someone's already done this sort of survey, I'd appreciate a pointer to the results of it. Thanks!
